One evening in upstate New York, our group of friends gathered around a cozy fire with one (or a few) glasses of wine. The conversation drifted to hypothetical emergency scenarios—everything from a zombie apocalypse to natural disasters. As we joked about our survival skills, it dawned on us that while we had plenty of ideas, none of us women had an actual plan or a bag packed with essentials that we could grab in a moment’s notice.
We talked about what we’d need if we had to leave suddenly: not just the basics, but items specific to our needs as women. We pooled our ideas and began designing a bug out bag tailored for women, ensuring it had everything we’d want in an emergency—comfort, practicality, and peace of mind. What started as a casual conversation soon evolved into a mission to create something truly useful, because in real emergencies, being prepared is everything.
